Powell-Coleman Funeral Home (Gary, Indiana) is a joke. They tried to scare the family away from buying an online casket. They were trying to charge the family thousands of dollars which would have been more than they the online price in a time of need. This place is a total SCAM, FRUAD, CROOKS, and should not be in business. That was no way to treat a life long friend of ours. R.I.P and sorry we chose Powell-Coleman Funeral Home to send you off. They made a unbearable day even worst:{

This funeral home has the best pricing in Northwest Indiana. The employees are extremely nice, caring and are willing to work with you to better suit your needs. The employees that actually work on the bodies do a fantastic job! I would recommend this company over and over again! Thank you for a job well done -- once again.
