They are ok except for a customer service woman who's name starts with a K. They charge a late fee, as everyone else does. But that late fee is only good for 3 days. After that they give you a disconnect notice. So what's the point of the the late fee? I called and asked questions that she WOULD NOT ANSWER. All she did was repeat herself. Ask for someone else if you call them.
I have been with Powell Clinch Utilities for the past 20 years and always gotten excellent service. I called this morning to schedule a repair on my gas fireplace and was told not just that it would take several days (which I was expecting), but that they no longer "schedule" repairs. WHAT?? How can you not schedule a repair date? I was told I would just have to wait until they called me and that I needed to be sure and be there when they came. WHAT???
