$90 lift tickets is INSANE!! That’s big resort pricing. If I’m paying big resort lift prices I’ll just drive the extra hour up mountain to get my $90 worth. Not worth it here. At best it’s a quarter the size of the others, offers less than a quarter of the amenities, but charges the same prices. Powderhorn is a shameless grift charging those lift prices. We had an absolute blast at Powderhorn. The kids took advantage of the Bob Beverly program, the FREE learn-to-ski deal for first-timers. Adam got our multiple sessions set up for our greatest benefit, Tim and Jason were patient in getting our large group registered and organized, and the instructors were fun, helpful, and friendly. Great mountain, awesome vibe. Get out and support your local independent mountains!
The view was beautiful.
Shame on Powderhorn for keeping runs like this open. This was the ONLY way down to the bottom of a ski race and the only run open for all other skiers (inc many beginners) to get down this side if the resort. Dangerous and unacceptable.
