Do not take expensive knives here. I just had my carbon steel Japanese knife sharpened by them and they completely ruined it. It has a kuroichi finish on it and when I took it out of the saya the woman working asked me if it was supposed to look like that. I specifically asked for it to be sharpened by hand on Whetstones, as she had communicated to me that they could do this if necessary.
