The customer service by the lady in this store is appalling! I felt like I was being told off the whole time. I was told that in future do not purchase on line, but rather come into the store, which will benefit their small business. I informed her that the item I wanted was not in stock in the store and was told they didn’t know when it would be restocked, hence the reason I purchased on line. I have never in my life left a negative review. The customer service of pottery barn kids was appalling. Walked in the store - asked rudely why I was there (said to pick up a click and collect item). Then was lectured about why I ordered via click and collect and to never do this again as it doesn't benefit the local store. My daughter was really upset by the tone of the lady and started crying. Horrendously cold lady behind the counter, zero acknowledgement the entire time we were looking. Why be in a customer facing role if you drive customers away?
Poorest customer service I've ever experienced. Online shopping recommended. Don't go this place.
I never normally leave reviews let alone a negative one, but I feel I should in this case. I’ve gone into store twice and received the same one rude staff member. The rudeness from her was next level, so much so I won’t be visiting the store again. That being said the younger staff member who joined in the conversation was so nice and friendly.
