Paid $2000 on a kids desk which is very expensive but I thought the quality must be worth the price, When we unboxed it that night after work to assemble it was snapped. The rails the hold the drawers. I immediately contacted customer service, they just replied generic with no help said someone will contact me in the next week. No one contacts. Great products but the customer service doesn’t exist in the Fortitude Valley store. I went in there ready to buy and looking for help. Not a single person said hello or tried to assist for over 30 mins. Too busy chatting to each other not customers. When you’re with a young child and want to get in and out this is not fun. This is not my first time in store and the customer service is consistently poor.
Did an engraving of names on Christmas stocking but bringing my PB Christmas stocking that I previously have from US and they give me a brand new one without prior notice and didn't know where they place my old stocking. It slightly different but its the memory that it has been with the family with our first dog and when my first child born. If i know they gonna change it to a new one I wont do it in the first place. Wasn't too happy about it.
Love the normal Pottery Barn in the Valley, great customer service and friendly team. Pottery Barn Kids on the other hand has consistently had the worst customer service. The lady gave me attitude and on another occasion saw me approaching the register with an item to buy, and simply walked off into the back room and didn't come out.
