Pottery Barn Kids at Stanford is a sweet spot if you are decorating a nursery or kid’s room. I have stopped in a few times for gift 🎁 ideas, storage bins, wicker baskets and room pieces (coffee table, desks, curtains). The store is lovely. Everything is super cute, well made, and the quality is durable will last through the years. Prices can be a bit high but it feels worth it, especially for things you use every day. I guess I’m just one of many after looking at the reviews but the customer service here was actively rude. I observed that one of the signs said not to go to the higher bunk for safety and that it seemed to say you could go on the lower bed to try it out. I was immediately told that it wasn’t allowed and that I should “know better” despite the misleading sign and other toys in the same area out for kids to try. I should have left immediately and cut my losses but instead I pushed back and said that the sign could be improved... read more

I had a return to make and came in 15 mins before close to do so, I had bought the item half an hour ago and realized it wouldn't work. While I was there they accused me of washing the sheets saying they looked “mangled and fringed” I pointed out that thats not even possible since it was purchased within the hour they continued to say the return might not be processed through apple pay and that I might just have to come back since they are closing soon. Absolutely awful. High prices for mediocre quality. We bought several nursery items from Pottery Barn and the experience has been underwhelming. The crib mattress started peeling just a year in, and when I reached out to customer service, I was told there’s no product warranty and that we should have returned it within 30 days if we weren’t going to be happy with it. How was I supposed to know I was buying a crib mattress that barely lasts a year? Also worth noting: the mattress was backordered and took 5 months to arrive. W... read more
