My daughter’s room, from A to Z, is from Pottery Barn Kids, and I always enjoy shopping there. Yesterday, I visited the Bethesda store since it has a kids department, and I had a great experience. Courtney was wonderful—very kind, helpful, and always smiling. She truly made the experience enjoyable. We found everything we loved and wanted to buy. Horrible customer service! We came by to pick up two pieces of furniture and were instructed to drive into the loading dock next to the store. Upon arrival, we were told that the store was “too busy” to help us and that we should park illegally. They lost a sale because their associates and manager were too lazy to help. We will not shop here again.
I'm beyond frustrated and frankly, furious after my recent visit to Pottery Barn Kids. I just shelled out $200 for two backpack sets, with the explicit intention of having them monogrammed. What I got instead was an absolutely abysmal display of "customer service." The associate behind the counter couldn't have been less interested in helping me. Great showroom, the staff are nice and helpful.
My husband and I went to look at nursery chairs on July 4th. Barbara C. helped answer all our questions, explained which fabrics are normally stocked (not requiring a long lead time), and provided us with a detailed estimate for the Paxton recliner. Barbara shared an excellent tip that a manual recliner may not be as practical if a c-section is necessary.
