I am wondering why my daughter and her small group of friends were asked to leave from your store today around 4:30pm. The employee was Caucasian with a dirty blond bob. They were told that if you weren’t buying anything then ‘move on’. Funny how my daughter and friends were the only people of color in the store and the only ones asked to leave. I recently called the PBK Annapolis location inquiring about stock of a certain rug that I was interested in for my daughter's room. Angel answered the phone and I must say it was the most helpful and pleasant customer service experience I have ever had. Not only did she arrange to have the item shipped to the store, she basically personal shopped for me giving her opinions on duvet covers and matching sheets along with other items. Not one sales associate spoke to me the whole time I was in the store. Half of the associates were standing in a huddle, the other half were busy shopping with a lady pointing out merchandise she wanted to order. I guess when all the store employees are older white women, they couldn't imagine that a young black woman would wish to buy anything. My money spends just like anyone else's. Gladly went to "Babies R Us" across the street from the mall.

Awesome customer service over the phone by Kerry today! I spilled water on the Chenille and jute rug and the water left a ring. I am disappointed that a rug for a child's room would do something like this. I mean spills, vomit, ect are going to happen so a rug for a kid's room should be able to be spot cleaned with water at the very least without being damaged or having to be sent out to be professionally cleaned.
