We purchased a side table from Pottery Barn, and the stone on top of the table started cracking after just a few months, without any reason. We emailed them, and they agreed to exchange it for us. However, it took almost 4-5 months to receive the new one. Unfortunately, the replacement was faulty from the beginning. We had to go through the same process again, packing everything up and sending it back. They said they would replace it with a new side table again, but it took another six months to receive it. I received notification that my parcel had been " shipped". A notice from Aust Post then described receiving notification but the parcel could still be with the seller. Nothing has changed in over a week. The email address supplied by Pottery Barn says it is not monitored and to call a number - which I did last week. The call went through to somewhere overseas and could only tell me what I already knew. As the seller has to be the one to raise a query with the post office, I wonder if I've wasted $800???

On our first experience of buying frames from Pottery Barn a number of years ago, we opened the boxes when we got home to find the frames were damaged and we had to return to the store to swap the frames for undamaged items. On every occasion since, we have always requested the customer service representative check the frames in the boxes prior to us leaving the store.
