Terrible experience! Avid shopper at Pottery Barn even had my wedding registry with them and while I was visiting my parents, I came to the Sugarland location to exchange a gift I had received, and instead of helping me, the sales associate told me she would be right back and disappeared. Until I asked someone else for help I had just been waiting and only then did they tell me that they would need an email and a phone number would not work to look up the items. It was my first time coming to pottery barn and the experience I had was unsatisfactory. When I walked into the store, I was not greeted like the other customers. No one came to assist me with looking for anything. I didn’t feel like a valued customer during my time at the store.
Visited this store over the weekend and it was fully stocked with beautiful home items. Some prices seemed high but still wanted to ask about a few things, no staff around to help, so we just walked out.
The City Centre location is much friendlier. This store needs training on enhancing the customer service experience. I was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance and I had questions in this store. Couldn’t find anyone to help so I left.
