We had a very disappointing experience with Potter Violins. We returned the rental violin and requested for a refund for a credit card charge in accordance with the rental agreement. We did not receive a reponse until we escalated the matter to a manager. Although the agreement stated that we were entitled to a refund, it took a long time to receive a check. Tl;dr: Highly recommend Potter Violin for shopping for a cello, bow, or accessories! I was in the market to upgrade from my student-grade setup and visited shops in the DC area, including Potter. Jenna, the cello sales specialist at Potter, always gave me plenty of space and time to try instruments, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision.
