This is the worst electric company ever! Our power went out during a storm and never returned, even when everybody else's had. Turns out they removed our meter without ever notifying us or the apartment complex. My account was closed for no reason. They won't ever answer the phone when you try to talk with them and put you on hold for an indefinite period of time. Horrible service! Do not have get service from these people!
I can't get a bill in the mail. I can't get a hold of a human to answer the phone. I tried to enroll on line bill paying and all Iget is third party asking for credit card information.???
By far the worst electric company probably in the United States full of self-righteous worthless human beings that don't give two s**** about the people that they provide service to. They probably burn orphans for fun on their brakes because they have no heart or soul.
The power regularly goes out in our area. During a recent service call to our home, the technician admitted that Ohio Edison has known for some time now that it needed and still needs to make upgrades to the substation that powers our neighborhood and has yet to make these upgrades. The technician stated that Ohio Edison uses quick patches rather than solving known issues. The result is frequent outages, none lasting as long as the most recent one. Awful, Terrible, Horrendous, just all things bad. If I could leave them 0 stars I would. Don't expect anything good to come from any encounter with JCP&L - just expect disappointment. They charged me 500+ a month for 6+ months and only came to fix the meter after I had to threaten to sue them and never offered or issued any sort of refund - I would have switched if I didn't live in an apartment complex where they were my only choice. Horrible customer service, came and put a new meter in the front of my house destroyed my bushes and shrubbery refused accountability and told me it was my problem. I have never seen a Company so out of touch with their clients. I would recommend a different energy provider.
If I could give this company 1/3 of a star I would, I cannot believe how this is still in business? Duquesne Light is so much more responsive then these people. WE as a consumer should be the most important. HIRE more friggin workers…. People more people through school so you actually have a line of work. Duq will put this company out of business but I hope it is sooner than later. In the MIDDLE of a friggin pandemic WEST PENN fucked us for 4 days straight and counting.
Worst electric company ever. Power goes out at least every 3 months if not more and most of the time when there is not even a storm!! Totally absurd. This past time power went out at 1 am due to equipment damage they said. At 1 am with perfect weather?? Do better Ohio Edison. Despicable.
They are the slowest place I know!! I've been calling since 11am and no one has still yet to turn my stuff on!! This is bullshit.
