This was my first time trying Potbelly, and it will absolutely be my last. I was planning on ordering a larger meal but decided to try the mac & cheese first. I am incredibly glad I didn't waste more money. The mac & cheese was completely cold, clumpy, and gritty. It was so unappetizing that I couldn't even take a bite and had to throw it straight into the garbage. Potbelly needs a serious look at their kitchen quality control because serving food in this condition is completely unacceptable. Avoid this location.

I really hate having to leave this review because I’ve been to Potbelly many times and actually enjoy the food when it’s made correctly, but the location at 3900 Arlington Highlands has completely disappointed me one too many times. Today honestly was the last straw. No matter how many times I clearly tell the person making my sandwich exactly what I want, my order is almost always wrong. Our first time going to Potbelly. The service was a bit strange. Going through the line there was a gentleman standing before the sandwich station who I asked if we ordered here. He said yes and very kindly took our 4 sandwich orders. We continue to walk through I assumed to pay when we got down to the registers another worker asked what we ordered and we basically ordered our food all over again and then we were asked to backtrack to the sandwich station to let that person know what we wanted on it.
