Placed a to-go order that was ready when promised. Ordered one of their promo Lucky 7s - a sandwich featuring their 7 deli meats - and needless to say I think they only put on one slice of 3 meats, and skipped about half of the ordered toppings. The end result was pretty bad for the premium price they charge for one of their deluxe offerings. I’ve ordered the 7 at other Potbelly locations and it’s usually a great sandwich. Whoever made my sandwich that day either didn’t care or wasn’t trained properly.
So, so slow. On the regular it can be up to 20 minutes between getting in line and walking out with a sandwich. There is minimal staff there and they prioritize online orders. Most recently, I waited about 12 minutes to order and then my heated sandwich sat and got cold before the toppings were added and I was checked out. The toppings guy was busy processing online orders. I had to get his attention and say “hey that’s my sandwich waiting for toppings”. Pickup order 25 minutes late. I would have been served far faster if I had ordered in person which defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead. Potbelly, you need to rethink your processes. Absolutely do not order ahead.
