Bad burnt food. Bad inattentive service
Grabbed lunch at the Potbelly on Jackson near the Board of Trade. Went with a Toasty Turkey Breast sandwich and added a bag of Zapp's chips. The sandwich was warm and satisfying, and the chips added a nice crunch. Service was quick and friendly, even during the busy lunch rush. Spent around $10 total. Solid spot for a reliable and tasty sandwich in the Loop.
This Potbelly location near the Board of Trade is my go-to when I need a quick, solid lunch downtown. Spent about $14 for a sandwich, chips, and a drink—not bad for the Loop. Got the A Wreck on multigrain ($9.79), and it was stacked—turkey, roast beef, ham, and salami all toasted up perfectly with melty Swiss. Added some hot peppers for a kick, and it hit the spot. Service was quick even during the lunch rush, and the staff kept things moving. If you're looking for a reliable, no-fuss sandwich in the area, this is the spot.
Bad first time ordering experience. Ordered 2 sandwiches, none of them had any toppings listed in the order and one of them had some jalapenos added which I did not request.
