Today we ate at potbellies, my favorite place to eat chicken salad. We’ve been here multiple times, but today was a mess. There was a total of five people in the restaurant and three employees at the counter. Those employees were the most aloof, noncommunicative, careless style of employee I have ever seen. Went in and was the second person in line. I ordered and they somehow "lost" my sandwich. They apologized and said they'd remake it. I wait another 10 minutes while they serve several other customers for the worker to ask to check me out - she then asks "you got your sandwich right?" umm no? I then proceed to wait another 10 minutes and finally get my sandwich and a "thank you for your patience." Yeah not coming back if it's going to take that long to order a sandwich - stick with thundercloud.
Although their sandwiches pack good flavors, the portions are on the smaller scale especially the meat. Similar to Subway where you get a slice or two of each meat. Unless you load up your sandwich with vegetables, it is anemic. Prices are not commensurate to the portions.
POOR excuse for a Potbelly. Went in around 4pm. Not one single employee in sight. Literally stood there qabout 2-3 minutes. Finally started knocking on walls, counter, and whistling. Yelling "Hello! Anyone here??" A couple minutes later, a girl finally walks out of the back and says, Sorry, we didn't hear you come in. Said someone kept coming in and out and not buying anything. The store GM here (Geo) went over and above to correct an order issue that I caused all by myself. Although I was frustrated with myself for causing the issue, Geo assisted me with getting things straightened out. Even though he was busy making sandwiches, he took time time (as though I was the only one in the attire) to help me out. Thanks, Geo. We always love coming to this particular location. We always get interactions like this customer service to remind us why!
