The worst Potbelly in the Chicago area. I’ve tried coming to it multiple times and the food is always terrible. Salad is ALWAYS withered and brown, and the meat on their sandwiches is chewy and low quality. I was just handed a bag with salad in it and it smelled like a tanning salon; scented lotion is not ideal if you work in a restaurant. I immediately went right back into the shop and returned my salad, not because of the smell but because the lettuce was disgusting. Do not recommend!
Highly recommended!! A-wreck on flatbread with mushrooms, swiss cheese ok, hot peppers, mayo, mustard, lettuce, Italian seasoning. Shakes are good too. Love their selection of drinks (bottled ones in the fridge where you line up to order, or fountain drinks, or order a shake)
Chicken salad salad and shake is not the same. The salad usually has a scoop of chicken salad right in the center with pieces of cheese, this was not the case. They don't have the Potbelly vinaigrette anymore. The Oreo shake was more like Oreo flavored milk.
Usually love this place, but something was going on in the drive-through today. First, there was only one car in front of me and it took quite a while. Secondly, I had a gift card with $40 on it, I handed it to the kid I’m not even sure if he swiped it and then told me that made my total exactly what it was. I had to talk to him back-and-forth about the gift card. He swiped it, and then I wasn’t charged anything further. He almost didn’t give it back to me in the end. I didn’t get the salad I ordered.
