Great spot, great sandwich
Food was great especially for airport food. Most of the staff is rude especially the manager. He lied about the cost, then lied to another customer saying they didn’t have change so he kept his change, then lied to another customer saying they don’t do airport discounts. I don’t like how I was treated and will not return. Place is no good if staff acting as such.
The actual sandwich was delicious but upon walking in. Lady at the register asked, “are you going to order?” And pointed down the line to the sandwich maker. I walked to the sandwich maker, ordered my sandwich. He directed me back to the register and she looks at me and says, “what did you order?” Is that the actual system because that’s a pretty lazy system?
I am a huge fan of Potbelly Sandwiches, but the location in Terminal D at IAD airport is the absolute worst. Today 09/16/2025 l stood in the line, specifically told the crew what type of sandwich and the specific toppings. One of the guys specifically repeated the toppings back to me and the sandwich was still wrong when l started eating the sandwich. I didn't have time to return the sandwich because l had a Flight to catch. I see basic comprehension does not exist at these places. You all really need to do better at this lo... read more
2025 September 5/5: Prime Rib Steak was delicious though was not thrilled that a big piece of beef in my sandwich was fat, still overall very tasty...service was fast and friendly...actually a place to eat in the restaurant in the airport so a nice refuge when Dulles gets busy...
