Postino Parking can be a little tricky, but this is a nice upscale restaurant. Very nice ambiance and very good service. We had a party of 12 that was handled nicely in a semi-separate room. Try the sauteed spinach side.
Quaint & Romantic Postino's beautiful grounds and interior are perfect for a special date night. The wine list is fabulous. The clams were delicious. Main courses suffered from being almost too rich, but were still quite good. Service is professional and attentive without being annoying or over the top. PROS: Romantic setting, stellar wine list. CONS: chairs are super uncomfortable!
Postino's is easily my favorite restaurant in the Lamorinda area. The food is excellent and the servers and bar staff friendly and welcoming.
We went to Postino last night, We called in our reservation and let them know there was two birthdays in our party, there was no acknowledgment of the birthdays what so ever, the Caesar was the best of course, we really like the tuscan style. Know as for the service, the bar was very slow getting cocktails out, about 15 mins to get our cocktails,one of the Martinis was extremely salty,the server forgot the beer and the soda , we had to ask for them after a short period of time,the entrees were good, really enjoyed the short ... read more

We went here for our anniversary. The place had nice ambiance...romantic. Every part of our food was delicious. I wish I could eat there every day. I had the special! Just be prepared to pay the high cost for the delicious food.
We were there for my birthday and I have to say it could have been wonderful, if it wasn't for the gnats or fruit flys lingering around around table. The food is good and the bread is yummy. I loved the caesar salad. Served so you can eat with your fingers. Someone in my party ordered the soup which was very good, but very little amount. The bowl is deceiving. I organized my wife's 30th birthday party at Postino Restaurant. It went beautifully from start to finish. The restaurant has several room options, the availability to have a reception with cocktails and appetizers on the lawn area, and a prix fixe menu that still allows guests to choose a wide variety of entrees. Postino is back... excellent food & experience – My family had dinner here last week and thoroughly enjoyed the experienced The food was prepared & seasoned to perfection, chicken, fish and steak. The service was attentive and the ambience very enjoyable. They treated our little ones with humor and attention. After a few so so years, Postino is back and very noteworthy.
