I purchased a property from a family member and because it was a family member, I did not get a title search. I later found out that there was a judgement lien against the property, in the name of the family member, for an unpaid medical bill. DBL was the attorney representing the creditor. I called DBL on the 28th of August (2025) to pay the judgement lien. I paid it over the phone, and the funds were withdrawn from my account. (The family member has agreed to reimburse me.)
