I've shipped through PC Lakeshore several times, often when I'm in a reach time crunch relating to my business, and my experience has always been excellent. The owners -- who work in the store, so they're really easy to talk to -- are always friendly and the shipping happens quickly. The rates are pretty standard for this kind of business, sometimes cheaper, but I never feel like they're taking advantage. This Company tells you that they are getting you the best possible rate but, when you go to the shipper directly it is often 1/2 the price. I shipped a bike through Postal Connections Lakeshore and was told that I was getting the "Best Rate", I was charged $155.00 to ship the packages less than 900 miles. When I called UPS directly I was told that it should have cost $75.00.
