rip off RIP OFF!!!! this shop is such a rip off! i took my car there for a oil change and they told me my car needed 2,000 in work, i took it for a second opinion at a place in Niantic and they gave me a 400.00 est and showed me almost all of this per say work poast road tried to sell was fine Go ELSEWARE!!!!
rip off artist I agree this place is all smoke and mirrors, i brought my caravan in for oil change and they found some leaks (oil pan and valve gasket) i told then to fix it and the car was stalling here and there so they tuned it up (bill $950.00) the car still shut off on me when driving and when i complained the little man behind the counter acted like i was lieing, he gave me such an attitude i chose never to go back. Con Artists I agree with the other reviews. NEVER bring your car here. Everytime I brought my car in for a simple oil change there was always some other "problem" that needed fixing. I never left that place without paying at least $800. I made the mistake of buying a car from them. I paid $3600 but by the time I sold the car I had the most expensive 92 Saab in the state of CT. I wouldn't go there ever again.

Horrible Mechanic. We paid $1,500 to have all of our gaskets replaced on our motor to stop our oil from leaking. Now after 1 day of noticing the smoke for our valve covers leaking oil we were told "not to worry kids" by the smooth talking owner. After that we decided to take our losses because they made our car worse than when we took it in. The car barely even starts anymore and cannot even hold an idle. Best Service Ever! I brought my jeep into Post Road Auto in the beginning of the year based on a referal of a coworker. They quickly diagnosed and repaired an issue that had been on going and repaired at another garage. I now have my jeep serviced only at Post Road Auto. I am glad to have been refered to a garage that is a professional, friendly and honest establishment. i would reccomend Post Road Auto.
