I fully understand why this company has low ratings. After my insurance reached out to see if they could support my children’s needs and were informed yes we moved ahead with completing the requirements. This was the 8/30/24. Come November 2024 all programs were approved by my insurance. I sent confirmation of the approval and received no update. Come December 2024 I reach back out asking for an update. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE -5 I REALLY WOULD!!!! DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!! They will require you to drive 35-60 miles away, for a 2-hr job, not on company clock for driving or paid for drive time.....seriously what kind of company asks you to drive on your own time 45MINUTES - 1 HOUR, no pay, no anything!! then suspend you or cut your hours you already have because you didn't do everything they wanted you to do (drive the hour).....WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THIS?!?! My family worked with pbs for a year with 4 of my kids. There was a new worker almost every week. Their rbt’s are extremely unprofessional and roamed my home freely without permission. Be careful, if you say or do anything that goes against what they want they will falsely report you to dcf. They had already been in my home for an entire year and everything was “fine” but when I disagreed with a technique they were using on my autistic son and refused to use it they falsely reported me to dcf and said my house was “filthy”. ... read more
We received services for nearly 2 years from PBS. There was always a lack of RBT'S and we never received services the full schedule recommended or approved. In the end it was decided our neighborhood is unsafe and they would no longer provide in home services instead suggesting I should take my 4 homeschooled children to an alternate location of their choice.
