I've lived in DeLand for over 4 years now. My first time visiting this establishment. I walked in on a Monday night and there was one couple sitting and eating. At the bar on the ground were boxes of supplies on either side of the bar. Not very professional looking for a nice restaurant and somewhat of a safety hazard. I ordered a personal pan pizza and it was decent but nothing to write home about. I would probably order again but probably only for take out. Itbwas epensive for a 10" pizza.
The pasta 4 the Alfredo was a bit under done..noodles were stuck together and hard but the pizza was incredible!!! Will try again and request al dente for the pasta.Prices were good to.also we shared and for us it was perfect amount of food.
I came and shared a delicious salad and calamari meal, with 20% tip but I felt like they wanted us to order two meals, I'm old and eat very little and my daughter is mentally challenged. The next night we came back excited to share another delicious meal, unfortunately they didn't have what I wanted, which was to share another meal, and I felt so unwelcome so we left. The older man was our waiter and he seemed to have a real dislike of us. If I choose to eat their food again, I will get take out and leave 0 tip.
Delicious food. Nice portion sizes. No salad or bread with the meal was a disappointment.
Excellent little Italian restaurant right on the main North/South street in charming downtown DeLand. The owners are real Italians, and my spoken Italian was good enough for the owner to ask me where I was from. The pizza is spot-on to what you’d get in Positano. Delicious crust, and a really nice sauce. Nice homemade Italian dressing on the salad. And the family was very friendly and welcoming. You can parallel park right out front. Easy to find. Would highly recommend.
