First time here. Food and service was great.
I see this place on 35 so many times, it’s ridiculous. This location, not the restaurant, was once featured in Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey and I tried that place and it ended up being just as bad as before the revamp. This replacement? A freaking gem! Honestly, this has been some of the best food at an Italian restaurant I’ve had in a while! When we pulled up I thought my husband picked the wrong place, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good...try the artichokes francesa, the service was great (Cristian was attentive and on the spot), and the vibe was casual old world Italian.
Food was not very good at all. We waited for over 30 minutes just for our salads 😳really !! I had veal parm and it was not very impressive at all . Just the average Joe. Mauricio’s in Tinton Falls is the place to eat. So much better and half the price.
