I am not a person who leaves reviews, but the service was so bad, I hope my comment is of some help to others considering this place. I went in today for the first time looking to try a new nail salon in Riverdale. The nails came out pretty (just a basic gel powder manicure), but the nail tech was very rude and left four of my fingers bleeding. I've been frequenting this establishing for a few years now. I tend to use the same technician each visit and have been greatly satisfied. I've only had one bad experience when I used another technician (I wasn't happy with the quality of the manicure). Local to my home, a bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay for the convenience and again I love the work of the technician I use.
It’s a hit or miss. If you’re desperate , then sure, they’re better than the place around the corner on 235th. I’m very disappointed. It just looks like a blob of polish on my nail. I’ll only come back if I’m absolutely desperate.
Good results. Poor customer service. I really wanted to like this place because it’s so convenient location wise, but I have tried more than five nail techs and they all have the same problem: Very rough when using the electric nail filers they cut into your skin and even with the regular nail files despite telling them to be careful multiple times. Been there a few times for mani and pedi and loved the experience and service. The polish came out nice and thick, and there were no blemishes. The woman working with me understood my requests and was kind.
