I had an incredible experience at Posh Curls in Barrington. I worked with Joanne for both my cut and color, and I’ve received so many compliments since my appointment. She truly understands wavy and curly hair. Not only did my hair look amazing when I left, but I was also given an in-depth, step-by-step tutorial tailored to my wavy hair that completely changed how I refresh it between wash days. I am beyond happy to have found D A N I as my hairstylist! You think I'm kidding, I am thrilled! My hair has never looked better. Her cut is so tailored to my hair type that it looks great even when I just air dry it, that has never happened before. It's a proper, professional cut. I assumed all stylists were pretty similar for the most part, I was wrong. Dani is truly an artist with hair, I will never go anywhere else. Thank you, Dani!

I drove 45 minutes hoping Posh Curls would be as good as what I’d seen on Instagram. It was better! The salon is gorgeous, clean, full of plants and there’s even a cute little pup who makes you feel instantly at home. Anette, the owner, spent real time getting to know me. Not a rushed “tell me about your hair,” but an honest conversation about my story, my routine, what I’ve tried, and what I want my curls to look like. i wanted to love it and this was my second time at this salon but my hair looks terrible now. I wanted a trim and face framing layers and a u shape. she gave me chopped layers in the back and a sharp v shape and the bottom looks so thin and dead now. cut soo much off. basically ruined the length i was growing out and now its going to take years to get back to where it was. also left my hair tangled and just put gel in it and fried my hair in the dryer. i liked the bangs but i didnt see the back until i got home because i was... read more
