Billing department continuously messed up my bill for almost a year. I ended up paying twice for the same service and they were not willing to help find their error for the double bill. I understand errors happen but own a mistake when you make it, don’t pass it off on your patients. Unfortunately people don’t typically get a choice in who reads their imaging but if you do I would avoid this practice.
Atlantic Radiology affiliated with Portsmouth hospital and their subsidiaries is the absolute worst healthcare system I've every dealt with. Echoing other reviews, I suddenly started receiving text messages that I owed for a bill. I don't ever remember signing up for text message correspondences. Not only that, I was never sent a paper bill with the description of charges. In reading reviews, it seems that you have to reply "STOP" to finally receive a bill. We'll see if that works. Billing Dept not helpful. Received multiple text messages for payment from Atlantic Radiology in Portsmouth, NH. Clicked on link to pay but can’t as no account # given. No statement received in mail either. Called multiple numbers from their website. One was disconnected. Other number had recording, call transferred to non English speaking person. Dba Atlantic Radiology. They send you to collections as their normal billing practice. Then the collection agency tries to threaten you when you want to see a bill and not just pay an arbitrary #. Shady, everything else about Portsmouth hospital was great.
Actually a ZERO. I'm writing on behalf of my poor neighbor who has had nothing but problems with this radiology dept. She has been given the runaround with numerous phone numbers, and never gets a return call. I'm glad, yet so disheartened, I read the other reviews. I would highly suggest using Seacoast Radiology at WDH for excellent, professional service!
