I visited a submarine on Shipyard as a kid with my mother. I worked for a company on the Shipyard years ago. It looked like rundown then. I submitted an application and took the test for employment and I did not hear 🙉 back 🔙. I knew someone who took the test at the same time and he did not hear back either. I still disagree with SCOTUS that the Shipyard belongs to Kittery, Maine! What can you do? It is supported by four US Senators so that helps I suppose. Best place to work and visit. excellent food selections, outside restaurants deliver. Competitive parking-shipyard has incentive for carpools. Contractors who start at 0600 have the edge. Highest paying jobs on seacoast. Was a mechanic pipefitter and contractor worker, latter better due to fewer political barriers. Contractors enjoy paid hotel and per diem. My job paid $40.00/hr., and 60 hrs. wk. Life Cycle Engineering, Aerotek, Vt. Milcom, Sparwar the best to work for, LCE was tops. Got my clearance back and final red badge... read more
