We had such a wonderful experience at Portside Veterinary Hospital with our dog, Bear, yesterday. Dr. Jones was extremely thorough, personable, and, most importantly, a great listener. He took the time to really listen to our concerns, answer all of our questions, and explain everything clearly. We are so happy to have found a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly seems to know what he’s talking about. Our visit was great! We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. Everyone was so kind and took the time to get to know my pup and win him over. There may have been treats involved.
We have been to a couple of vets in Mt Pleasant and we chose Portside to take care of our 2 cats for the past few years. I actually saw the recommendation on FB and decided to try. Dr Jones and staff are very efficient and incredibly responsive and friendly, not only for regular check ups but any time we had emergencies with them. And he is very patient to explain and discuss as many times as needed. We couldn’t be happier or more assured that we have the best care for our 10 yr old cats.

Dr Jones and his team are amazing! They’re so sweet and patient with my dog and make him feel comfortable during our visits. Our visits are quick/efficient and everyone is so friendly :)
