We have been there and eaten inside where the food and service was great. Today however we sat on the deck downstairs with 2 other couples. The service was severely lacking! We had to flag someone down whe. We needed more drinks, silverware and water. The most attentive was the bis boy who assisted with bringing food out. He is who should get the tips out there. This place was not busy. The waitress took over 22 minutes to come to our table when she was just talking to another employee. She also made our drinks but that took forever because she was talking and writing who knows what on a paper. Taking orders from others tables that waited for over 15 minutes. Plenty of employees standing around on their phones. I waited on tables for many of years and bartended too. Customer service ..,,very lacking and she was not a young girl. Super disappointing!
Chx Chesapeake sandwich was good, but the serving of fries served with it was pathetic for the $$. Three % upcharge for paying with a card (didn't know this till after the fact).
This place is nice for its view of the bridge and overall atmosphere. The service here is really good they have friendly staff, the wait time for the food is a little long but not too bad. I got the calamari appetizer. It was ok at most, some of the bigger pieces were a bit undercooked. the portion was what I’d expect though the portion for the fries I ordered apart wasn’t.
