The doctors is a joke! I have severe anxiety and depression i do not leave the house because of this i have tried to get a sick note twice as I have been asked to get one and they keep refusing to give me one and uses the excuse that we don't give out sick notes for this. Which is complete lies
Impossible to get appointments...caller nr 28 in the queue....just gave up as unable to wait an hour for them to answer the call.
I called in on the 'off Chance' for two immunisation jabs, I was seen immediately. And also discussed a current medical crisis, this was dealt with straightaway with no fuss, I have only been with the surgery for 6days.My previous Doctor would not help with my request for urgent assistance or talk to me ,likewise the hospital. So thank you Portsdown practice, the receptionist was professional and helpful, and the Doctor restored my faith in good old fashioned patient care.
