I was able to attend the Seattle event a few weeks ago and wanted to say thank you for organizing such a cool event. Truly enjoyed it and really appreciate the way it brought people together. There’s been some amazing pictures coming out of it- lots of amazing collaboration. Hope you come through Seattle again soon!

I attended my first slam in 2019 as a photographer for the #pinktoberslam held at Lotus in Medford Oregon for breat cancer awarness month, and I've now attended 8 slams since my first one! You can say I'm definitely hooked! I was very nervous at my first slam, I didnt know what too expect but once I got started it was really fun! Portrait Slam events offer the unique opportunity to work collaboratively with models, photographer, videographers, make up artist, hairstylists, wardrobe, local businesses and venues. The events bring all these things together to form a creative incubator of sorts. Every event is exceptionally well planned and yet retains an organic and welcoming environment. It is truly special.
