Porto's was excellent as always, but wanted to thank Adrian specifically for helping us out as we were leaving. We realized that my son's cookie was left out of the bag inadvertently and we had tossed the receipt/proof of payment in the trash with the food remnants when we were finished eating. I asked him if there was a way to look up our receipt to be able to provide us with the missed cookie, and he immediately and happily retrieved 3 cookies for my kid without any further questions. Porto’s Bakery is a massive, bustling spot with an incredible selection of baked goods at very reasonable prices. While the long lines don’t move quickly, it was disappointing that they wouldn't warm up items like the croissant. Still, it’s worth a visit for the variety and value.

Porto's Bakery has been a go-to spot for pastries since childhood. It's wonderful having a location in Buena Park, and I've been a frequent customer since it opened. The atmosphere is always bright and welcoming, and the service and food quality are consistently great.

Just 5 minutes away from home stands a cuban inspired restaurant which is Portos. As usual, the line for queue is always very long, but surprisingly it is moving quite fast. The lechon sandwich is good, BUT you have to try the Spicy Chicken Milanesa which is absolutely flavorful. Try the Dolce de Leche coolers. It is a must. This restaurant live to be an all time favorite, for tourist and locals alike. Just take note of the parking, its very packed all the time.
