Friendly! Gorgeous! The owner was so accommodating with providing hot water for tea! A must go to!!!!
My wife and I stayed here for a cycling event in nearby Creston. We loved Portola Inn thanks to Tom’s wonderful hospitality, the grounds (Atascadero and surrounding Central Coast area in general are incredible) with huge Oak trees in and around the property. The living space (love a good shower that is quick to heat up and with great volume) was spacious and comfortable with a killer gas stove/oven and an excellent HVAC system that kept us warm at night, and cool in the day. Went to my Neices wedding here last spring, absolutely stunning venue and location in Atascadero. The Grand Oaks hundreds of years old surround the main area beautifully. 💚👍
My Lovely bride and I got married today, and the staff at Portola inn made it absolutely perfect. The location is lush with greenery, a beautifully tended to garden and a lovely indoor space in the carriage house. Everything went absolutely perfect, seamless transitions between the sections of the event and plenty of space for our party of 40. I could not have asked for this day to have gone better. I would highly recommend this location for a wedding or any event that you wish to be spectacular.
