We don’t often realize how great our care is till we need care and it’s not given and I can say with personal experience I was treated great in extreme pain in my back & legs the doctor was wonderful and I had to see another ER years later and was not treated well I did not know what that Doc in Pocatello gave me however it did its job and after I rested I recall being back to normal so shout out to that ER doc and team Ty
I have 2 issues. Emergency room Dr Monroe when he first came in, pulled the stool to my bedside, sat down, and emmediately begain yawning, not a little, butthis was over the top. Huge lengthly yawns, 4 times. Needless to say my confidence in the care I was abiut to receive just deminished. Overall I'm still not sure if he was very thorough in my evaluations. Went in for knee pain. They shook it off as nothing major. Ended up at another ER where they diagnosed a major staph infection. So thanks to the useless doctor, I could've lost my leg. Then I filed a grievance and they sent a letter saying their internal investigation found that it was adequate care. Yeah, if you care about your life and limbs, just drive anywhere else.
I have been waiting for a dr to come see me for 3 hours while I was vomiting blood...nurses could careless...dr careless...next time I going to bingham memorial in blackfoot...I getting ready to just leave
I was extremely impressed with the care my adult daughter received last night at Portneuf Medical Center ER room. Getting there we received help at the front desk immediately and taken back to a room. Dr. Dan Dallon was on call and very help and concerned. He went above and beyond to explain what was happening, ordering tests and medication to help relieve her pain.
