This was my first and only experience with Portneuf’s ER, and I wish I could give this place 0 stars because 1 star is far too generous. We took our daughter (very sick to her stomach all day and feeling miserable) to the ER last night and had an awful experience!!!! Once being checked in and having her vitals checked, we were placed in a room way in the back corner (not even a regular room but a temporary waiting room, which was actually kind - or maybe just regular protocol - because she was throwing up a ton and they didn... read more
Normally it's pretty good here. Last time the doctor ran test that no one discussed with me and received no approval or OK for. It also gets worse but I'm not going into that online. He just became more unprofessional toward the end.
A waste of your time you can spend more than 5 hours in a waiting room for an eye injury on a child who cannot see out of that eye while drug addicts come in and get seen left and right while you sit there and wait for help. I guess a good place to go if you want to die cuz there is no medical help there. Unless you're an addict
If you want to wait hours and hours and deal with staff that don’t seem to care if you’re in pain go here.. we waited for hours then left since my husband was in so much pain and couldn’t deal with it anymore. We went to a local urgent care then had a the doctor there call the ER and say we needed to be seen and they still told us 2 more hours! Will never go here again! You might as well make the drive to Bingham hospital in Blackfoot than to deal with this hell hole. If zero stars were a thing I would give them zero stars.
If you get Dr. Sandy, you might as well just go home and die in your own bed. My arms became partially paralyzed out of the blue. I was in intense pain. You know what he did? He drug tested me, and then told me to go see my PCP. 6 months after that visit, my arms are still partially paralyzed. He didn't order X-rays or MRIs or any special blood tests. Also, if you're a veteran, they don't know how to bill VA Health, so they will mark you as not having insurance while in the ER. I think is part of the reason why he didn't ord... read more
