If you are going to complain about a patient, you should have enough professionalism to do so where the patient can't hear you. If you want your patient to follow the written instructions, you should probably remember to include the instructions in the packet you mail to the patient. If you are expecting a patient to follow the phone instructions, you should probably cover everything in the phone call.
