Took a "sunset cruise" (6pm - 8pm, sunset was at 824pm), so more of a 'nautical twilight' cruise. Either way, it was a great experience even though we stayed in the harbor and had some really good wind in our sails. The crew (3 gentlemen) were attentive and helpful, answering questions and conversational. Heads up: there is an opportunity to assist the crew in hoisting the sails if that is your thing. Really lovely tour company!! The sail boat was beautiful and so cool to be on. We did a sunset sail and had a great time. It was fun getting to help with the sails when we first set out. The crew was fantastic and kind and we would highly recommend joining them on a sail!
Big thanks to Portland Schooner for setting us up for a great wedding sail! The captain was mindful of the weather and steered us towards calm waters for our marriage ceremony!
