I had my initial visit with this office today, and I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my entire life. I filled out an enormous of paperwork before my appointment. I arrived on time, and they asked me to resubmit paperwork that I had already completed online. This took about 10 minutes. I sat for another 10 minutes, and asked why I wasn’t being seen. Dr.Stapleton is great and a wonderful Dr., his staff not so much. When you go there you will not see Dr. Stapleton you will see his staff. I went in for an appointment that, I was told by voicemail, that was to be at 7:15. They opened the doors at 7:10 and the receptionist didn’t get there till 7:18. I told them my voicemail said 7:15 and they told me that check in time was 7:15 that that my appointment didn’t start till 7:30. When I mentioned my voicemail the became defensive and very rude. Excellent staff, excellent treatment. After seeing Dr. Stapleton for an epidural spinal injection in L3, my pain level was reduced from an average of 8+ to a 2 or 3 most days. Way beyond my expectations!! His office staff and Anup were great, start to finish. I cannot recommend Portland Pain Care and doctor Stapleton more highly. His treatment gave me my life back!!
All I can say is don't go. The staff there is incompetent. The nurse messed up the IV. When it came to the sedation they rushed it because they were behind. The sedation didn't work at all. Dr. Stapleton didn't care to fix it and went ahead with procedure. Left with more pain than going in. They also didn't call to let me know they were done. Really disappointed being sold pain relief and being put into more pain.
