My 1000sq foot house with 2.5 people shouldn’t cost $200+ in electricity alone. Feels like something isn’t right here… PGE, being our only option for power… kinda messed up if you ask me, especially raising our prices all the time.
The amount of outages that happens in this area are absurd. This is the fourth state I’ve lived in and I’ve seen nothing like it. A gust of wind was all it took tonight. Makes me fearful of what would happen if there ever was a real weather event.
No compensation for power out. Owns the monopoly on electric in my area. I have no other choice but pge. This is not the American way.
Absolutely insane how they have raised their prices over and over again in the last year. I go into my app and it says “energy usage down 10% from this month last year” which made me curious to see how much I paid this month last year, $163. How much is that bill this month for THIS year? $249! And that’s with being DOWN 10% on energy usage compared to LAST YEAR. Somebody needs to open up another electric company. This is ridiculous this terrible company being our only option.
I called in about an issue with my account. The woman who answered (her named started with a Z), was articulate and straight forward. She was very gentle and explained everything perfectly. This is my experience with them. If I have issues with them, I will update this review, but so far the customer service was great.
