We started on NW Burnside in 2001, then in 2010 we moved our showroom to NW 23rd Ave. Since doing the move, our store has been thriving with lots of local neighborhood support that we are so grateful for! I love shopping at Portland Furniture! We've already purchased two accent chairs and a curved sofa for our living room, and we're coming back for more. I went to the Portland Furniture showroom on SW 23rd to have a conversation with Dana about the sofabed her company made for me. Weeks earlier, she called to say that my sofabed was finished and in her warehouse, ready for delivery. Unfortunately, she had forgotten to add the bed part to the order. So, no bed, just a sofa. Fine…people make mistakes. Luckily, we had no guests on the books. And, she absorbed the $250 cost of the eventual delivery. Great customer service and a wide selection of comfortable, affordable, locally made/sourced items. Dana is wonderful to work with and her prices were always lower than other places we looked. Portland Furniture is a small furniture shop specializing in custom-made sofas at reasonable prices. They carry plenty of décor, such as rugs, lamps, and bar stools. They also provide free in-store design and space planning advice; just bring in your photos of your space. The employees who work there are super nice and friendly as well as very knowledgeable. I would recommend them if you ever need a custom-made sofa.
