Renting from Ray was the greatest. My fiance and I took both sets of our parents out for a day in Casco Bay and we had the BEST time. Ray was so kind and flexible as we needed to move the reservation twice that summer due to the weather. He was transparent, communicative, and extremely helpful with directions and a thorough safety talk. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great day on the water!
The boat was in excellent condition, and extremely clean. Ray is a pleasure to work with, extremely responsive and friendly. He spends plenty of time showing you how to work the boat and makes sure you are ready and comfortable to get on the water. No problems what so ever. If I am ever in Portland again I would 100% rent from him. Would recommend to anyone visiting and thinking of getting on the water!
The owner is very friendly, welcoming, with a great sense of humor. Very educated suppling plenty of information about the Vessel and Marina's for a well-planned out day at Casco Bay. The vessel was beautiful, clean, excellent running condition and, plenty of space for 8 people along with storage. Thank you, Portland Boat Rental for giving our family an everlasting memory, we will cherish forever. We would absolutely rent again and highly recommend Portland Boat Rental.
What a lovely day we had out on the sea! Floating near the coastline was a dream come true. Really appreciated how easy Ray made it for us to pick up and return the boat. The boat itself was easy to drive and in pristine condition. 10/10
