This was our first time at Portillo's and it was fantastic. The chocolate cake shake was a bit sweet for us, but if you like a ton of sugar, it'll be your jam. The Italian Beef Sandwich was our favorite, but the dog was great too. No complaints at all. They even serve beer there!
Excellent food
I did my internship in Chicago over 20 years ago and Portillo's was my go-to place to treat myself. Then I find out they had one in Tucson and had to try it. It had a lot to live up to, and boy did it! I bit into the Italian beef sandwich and had a Proust moment, one where I was sent back in time to that first moment when I tried the sandwich.
