The Italian beef sandwich is the bomb!!
Drive thru is so so sooo slow…. I don’t understand. I really wish I could cancel my order and get my money back, especially after 30 mins for a meal. I should’ve known after wait 45 mins for a slice of cake.
I've been to several Illinois locations and even one in Arizona. The experience at a Portillo's is always the same. AMAZING!!! Food tastes the same from location to location. It's absolutely delicious. This Richmond, Texas location is huge!! It has a great vibe to it. Great for large groups and nice for a party of one. Burgers are delicious, but you definitely need to try an Italian beef if you've never had one. And please don't leave with a Portillo's shake!!! May I suggest the Chocolate Cake Shake??? Start the death clock. This place will only be around until the deep pockets that thought it was a good idea run out of money. The hot dog sounds like it would be good in theory, but I'm not going to ever like a boiled hot dog with a casing on it. The hamburger is on par with Burger King. Same fake Char-Broiled flavor. If you get the meat sub, don't ask for dipped unless you like a completely soggy bun wrapped around some meat that doesn't have much flavor. Hard to believe they're building so many locations.
