I would give a negative 5 stars for Portfolio Recovery if I could. This place is ridicous. I had my wages garnished from them over 11 years ago and also filed bankruptcy. I've been trying to get a loan and the judgement from them is still showing. I have called them over 30 times trying to get them to send info to the bank that I no longer owe them but they won't. This company sued my husband for a debt that was not his, we had a family member open the account fraudulently. We were trying to dispute the charges, however they did not care and they started garnishing his check. We are about to have a baby, so we agreed it’s not worth fighting it out when we need our finances for our future child and we paid the debt off in one payment.
