Norma drive to Odessa and stand in line at Wally World for 35 minutes with people in their pajamas. Porters is a good store , never had to wait more than a few minutes to get checked out

I highly recommend Porters Thriftway in Presidio Texas. It is our ONLY grocery store in Presidio that provides us with what the community asks for. Yes, there are people who are unsatisfied with what it does not provide (e.g. Egg whites, large Greek yogurt, among other organic groceries) however, it is what the majority of our community ask for. The fact that Porters Thriftway is open an willing to provide it's clients with what they desire speaks highly of them. We thank their time and service.

Prices are too high, store is always out of the items on sale, there is usually not enough cashiers, you usually have to bag and carry out your own groceries...it could be a great store if changes were done...

I think the names should be changed, keep the thriftway part, but change the first name. It's frustrating that the names imply the same deals and prices, but is none of the sort. I can find toilet paper cheaper at 5th st., than at 2nd street. Yet I can get better meat deals at second street than at fifth street. Wasting gas to go to one store, then finding out the same item is cheaper at the other, going to the other and finding out that cheaper item sold out, then having to go back to the first to buy the more expensive ite... read more
