My family went to Porters to celebrate a graduate from TAMU. We had a 3PM reservation and were sat around 330. Drinks came out slow. Food came out slower. Steaks were under cooked and mostly cold like they had sat for a while. For the money a very underwhelming and disappointing meal. This was our first experience at Porters and we had brunch. Everything we ordered was delicious from the drinks (adult chocolate milk and bloody Mary’s) to the jalapeño chicken and waffles and steak and eggs. Our server Kaitlin was the best. She made great recommendations and took great care of us. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy dinner sometime!
It came recommend and didn't disappoint. But it wasn't as good as other meat restaurants in Texas we tried in the past.
I recently reserved a room for a large party, and I have nothing but praise for Porters. From the first contact through the event coordinator to picking menu items and having to accommodate 4 more guests. and then the day of our event, we had wonderful wait staff and the young man managing our party. Everything was top tier, professional and friendly.
