I've known Vernon Smith and his company Porter International Construction, LLC for 10 years now. (Since July 2007.). I have worked for him and I must say he is an honest man and a person of high integrity. He always treats his employees like family. Porter does excellent work and always completes their jobs on time or early. Porter always pays their sub's and there are never any disagreements. I give Vernon Smith and Porter Imtetnational Construction, LLC a five (5) star rating!!! David Van

My husband is a mechanic and was hired to do some work for the owner Mr. Vernon and has been finished for two months and Mr. Vernon refuses to pay my husband for the job and keeps giving the run around so I would NOT do any kind of business with Porter construction!

DO NOT use Porter for any construction work. They never show up on the jobsite for the work they are contracted for. Then they pad their invoices for phantom work. The owner Vernon hides behind the church when he is really a crook. His son LJ then verbally threatens the client on the phone instead of rectifying the problem. They are being sued by numerous claimants in both Montgomery and Harris county district court. This company is fraudulent and will only steal your money. NEVER use them.
