Excellent little tour. Interesting and informative. Tour guide very knowledgeable about the history of coal mining in general and especially in Harlan.
We didn't get to take the tour back in it but we enjoyed what we saw at the entrance.
Good for kids to learn about mining. You NEED to buy tickets ahead of time.
Didn't get to do the mine tour as we got there just as one was leaving and didn't have time to wait for the next one. Cool place though with a lot of history
A very educating tour, a great experience. Would highly recommend it. gives you a greater appreciation for the coal miners and the sacrifices they make!
